Where Code Meets Canvas: Hong Kong Debuts Groundbreaking AI Art Festival

December 19 marked the grand opening of the inaugural Hong Kong AI Art Festival, hosted by Bauhinia Culture Group at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center. Under the theme "Forseeing the Future: Reality and the Beyondless", the festival is dedicated to establishing Asia's premier international event focused on the deep integration of technology and art, contributing to Hong Kong's development as an international hub for innovation and technology as well as a center for cultural and artistic exchange between China and the world.




The festival drew participation from numerous renowned scientists, artists, corporate representatives, and academic leaders from across the globe.

The event attracted a prestigious gathering of leading scientists, visionary artists, tech entrepreneurs, and academic minds from around the world. Its program is packed with unique experiences:

Asia's first fully immersive, multi-sensory AI art exhibition, featuring groundbreaking works by over 30 international artists like Xu Bing, BillVorn, Louis-PhilippeDemers, PatrickAlainTresset and EgorKraft;

The world's first narrative-driven "Robot Carnival," where over 100 robots from companies like Unitree and Ubtech participated in fashion shows, arena challenges, and chess games;

An extensive "Hong Kong AI Science Popularization Week" with over 40 public workshops and lectures held in collaboration with local universities and schools.

In his opening remarks, Mr. Xu Zhengzhong, Chairman of Bauhinia Culture Group, framed the festival as a global stage. He described it as a major platform for AI firms to demo new tech, a grand stage for artists to share new inspiration, and a vibrant arena for the public to encounter future scenarios.
